I love my MacBook Pro, but for some reason, problems seem to stay connected to wireless networks. I have SA in addition to other machines (both PCs and Macs) and the other parties seem to do to my computer. Granted, I did not buy my MacBook Pro, just to surf the Internet - and I bought it to edit, music and videos, some tasks not more than the adding machine - but it is annoying when you almost $ 3000 a piece of technology can 't keep up with $ 400 AcerLaptops.
Sorry for the rant, my point I love my Mac laptop, but frustrated with the wireless. Maybe you're in the same boat? Or worse, maybe you are in my exact position and have a presentation on a high-paying clients and nothing on the page "shop" for a while ... and minutes ... and minutes ... To run your mouse on the signal strength icon in the top right and says: "Scanning ..." with the small icon next to twirlyit.
Anyway, here's a little tip, I stumbled on. It's something I came to myself, I do not know why it works or even if it does not work (maybe it's just a placebo I feel) better. Anyway, it seems very effective most of the time and thought I would share:
If you look at the infamous "loading" Internet browser tabs and find the "scan" status in the wireless icon, the network of the computer diagnostic program. For some reason, it seemsKick start everything working again properly.
Also I do not know how or why this works, and it would not work for you. But it is fast and free, so you have nothing to lose.
Here is the general instructions:
1. Click the AirPort icon in the upper right corner of the screen
2. Click on "Open Network Preferences"
3. At the bottom of the box that opens, click "Wizard"
4. It opens a box if you want help with the problem, asks you to choose"Diagnostics"
5. Walk through the instructions
If they ask you to reset your modem and wireless router has no effect. Tell the computer you have. That is usually enough to work.
Also I do not know why it works, but it seems. At least for me. If you are in the same situation, give it a chance, you have nothing to lose.
