Presario F700 WON'T BOOT!! Need some advice plz!!

UPDATE (2/16/2011): no bragging or anything, but I'm a systems engineering student, hence I'm quite familiar with the inside of a PC. So the update is this: I left the computer to rest for well over three months since I had no time to get it fixed whatsoever. After that, I plugged the power in and turned it on and then the infinite cycle began: turned on then off, turned on again then off again, on & off, and so on, nothing new about that. I left it in that cycle for 20+ minutes. Then I did the ESCAPE KEY trick and forced it to stop the cycle & stay on. I left the computer in that turned-on-but-doing-nothing state (monitor off but the fan still spinning) for over 5 minutes, and then... POOF! white & black lines showed all over the screen, leading me to believe that it's a video chip issue indeed. Since it only showed me white lines and did nothing, I disconnected the power, reconnected it and guess what?! Yup! To my surprise THE COMPUTER BOOTED! Unfortunately, after 10 minutes of use, the whole screen turned black, showed other color lines and the computer freezed - same thing that triggered this whole situation, but after the good ol' unplug-&-plug-the-power technique, the pc booted normally and I'm still using it to this day (a few days after the repair actually lol) though with a fan cooler under it. However, this is a short term solution to a bigger problem. The issue may still very well be there. Sooner or later I'm afraid my computer will just collapse again. Hope ...

Mario Kart Wii - Chomp Valley (Custom Track) by MrBean35000vr and Chadderz

I'm back on the track making scene! This track is Chomp Valley, which started out life as boring old DS Peach Gardens. Now it has a cliff, Chain Chomps high on caffeine/crack and Monty Moles on steroids. It also has a lake which you'd be hard pushed to fall into, I don't think anyone has so far, but it's there in case you ever want to drown. Anyways, this track is definitely definitely definitely the prettiest track we've made so far, makes Mushroom Peaks look completely ugly (no offence to it), and also took longest to design. I came up with the idea on a whim; I drew a squiggle in Paint and thought, "Eh, that'll do" and made a track out of it. Then built a cliff, some jumps, a lake, etc... Needless to say, it turned out much better than I expected it to, and the addition of the chain chomps especially keeps things highly interesting and amusing :P Here is, as usual, an online demonstration of the track, featuring 8 players all getting bashed around by chain chomps, except for me for the most part, I got away quite lucky :P There are two races featured here. At the moment, there are several glitches, but they're all known; I do plan to release RC2 soon which will fix them (most notably the hole up top of the boost). And yes, in case people are wondering/are slow and haven't found out yet, it IS added to the CTGP, under (surprise surprise) DS Peach Gardens. A huge thanks, of course, to Chadderz for coding the SZS Modifier, and for yet again, listening to nagging requests ...

Here hopefully is a great technique I learned a while back and want to share it with you. Works for Windows XP #Step 1: Restart your computer. #Step 2: When it begins to restart begin tapping F8 or F12 #Step 3: You will see the "Windows Advanced Options Menu" #Step 4: Select: SAFE MODE #Step 5: Click NO to proceed to System Restore #Step 6: Pick a date way before you were infected with the fake pop up ad and proceed with the system restore. #Step 7: Windows will restart and hopefully the fake pop up ad will not have happened... #Step 8: *DO NOT RUN ANY PROGRAM when Windows has finished loading up. (Doing so may activate the fake anti-virus software* Before you do anything click on START then RUN then type "MSCONFIG" then click on the tab called STARTUP and uncheck all boxes!! Click on Apply and OK ..don't restart yet. #Step 9: Remove any suspicious program you might end up finding by doing this: click on START then CONTROL PANEL then ADD REMOVE PROGRAMS (Look for anything unusual that could be the fake antivirus and uninstall the software) #Step 10: Restart your computer. System Shock 2 HD Review (Detailed Installation Tutorial In Description)

I have been working on this review for ages, all footage custom made via Fraps and the DarkWidescreen Mod. Im very fussy when it comes to word usage and finding the right footage, and still sense things in this review im not 100% happy about. But I know with me, there will always be criticisms and in the end the video will be constantly re-edited and never actually posted. System Shock 2 is a review that was almost forced upon me, its a game I didn't originally intend to review, but I received an immense amount of requests to do so. The reason I put so much of my time and effort into my Resident Evil review, was because I wanted to present the hidden psychology I discovered within it. The other reason being of course that it was the only video game that ever truly horrified me, and could officially force me to turn the console off. If I feel I can review a game that just might separate my review from the rest, who focus primarily on the technical aspects such as sound, graphics and game-play, rather than revealing some personal connections or depth within the game, then I just might attempt it. I WILL NOT ANSWER ANY COMMENTS ABOUT WHY YOU DO NOT HAVE THE INK PEN, AND WHERE YOU CAN GET IT. if you have tried the above methods and it still does not work, then you can message me. Work on older versions will, most likely, be limited to bug fixes and, as 2.5 becomes the standard. Scaling and rotating objects are a fundamental Blender skill. The pivot point defines how objects will be rotated and scaled. If you're relatively new to Blender, you can easily get objects moving in ways you might not expect. As we progress, I will point out differences between Blender 2.5 and the older versions. The pivoting actions really haven't changed in 2.5. However, some cosmetic things like the default color of the active object and the icons for rotation and scaling, have changed. You should feel very comfortable pivoting your way in 2.5 almost immediately.
