How to disassemble the Seagate Free-Agent Go Drive (13 x 80 x 130 mm case) with internal 2.5 inch SATA (laptop format) HDD. This is easy to do, once you've seen this procedure, you can remove the HDD for use in a laptop (or replace the HDD to fix a broken Seagate FreeAgent Go Drive by replacing its HDD with a new one). My technique can be done without any damage to the case, whatsoever. CAVEATS: wear rubber soled shoes and work on wood to avoid ESD damage, and never squeeze the center area of any HDD
